Health Profile Data: To personalize medication explanations, we collect your age, biological sex, and whether you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding. We do not collect full medical histories, diagnoses, prescriptions, or treatment plans.
Medication Search Information: The names of medications you search for or request explanations for.
Feedback Submissions: Information, comments, or screenshots you voluntarily provide through in-app feedback forms.
We use the collected information to:
Personalize Explanations: Tailor educational explanations to reflect general safety considerations associated with age, sex, and pregnancy or breastfeeding status.
Improve Accuracy: Ensure the AI-generated responses are contextually relevant to your specific demographic.
Maintain Accounts & Support: Secure your profile and respond to your feedback.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We work with trusted service providers to operate MediBuddi:
Supabase – User authentication and secure database storage
Google Cloud – Secure backend hosting and infrastructure
OpenAI – Processing medication names to generate plain-language explanations
4. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain account information and usage data only as long as necessary to provide our services. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email provided below.
5. Security
We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards (such as encryption) to protect your information. However, please note that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
MediBuddi is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover such data has been collected, we will delete it immediately.
